Married for 12 years with 2 children husband harassing me what to do

I am married for 12 years with 2 children - a boy and a girl. Aged 5 and 12 respectively. My husband harasses me mentally. Is there a way to stop this?

Firstly you need to record/ keep proof of the said harassment, irrespective of you intending towards litigation immediately or not this will help you in the future if anything adverse is to happen.
I would suggest you try finding out the reason why he behaves in this pattern and try to resolve the issues amicably. If not you may approach a marriage counselor, social worker, social institutions, Women's cell or the police who will try to reason with your husband and make him understand. If the problem is severe and persisting and If you are fed up and are not interested in continuing your marriage, you have the following legal remedies and you can choose any of it as per your requirement.
1. You can file a Divorce Petition.
2. You can file Application u/s 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act
3. You can choose to file Maintenance case against your husband claiming maintenance for yourself and your children.
4. Judicial separation.
Any other advise I have to offer would have to be more tailored after I get to know your specific situation and other details.
