Law for disowning a family member

Hi, Is there any law in India for disowning a family member such sister? Its not just the financial part where she shouldnt have any claim over my self-earned money or my husband's but also where I have no obligation to her family (husband/kids), not held responsible for the issues she creates and debts she takes, does not have any authority if I am in need of medical attention and family signature is needed. In short, a complete cut off from this relationship as if it doesnt exists. If such provision do exists, will it require a court case or lengthy legal battles? We are Hindus and both are married to Hindus.
