Is it necessary to go to marriage registrar for court marriage

We both are muslim from kota & wanna do court marriage. We wanna do stamp marriage is it valid? Or we'll hv to go before marriage registrar or magistrate.

Court marriage is registered in registrar court that marriage is held in presence of two witnessed marriage registrar .so there no need registered in any other person.this marriage is done special marriage act.this marriage is civil marriage so you not need stamp paper on marriage.

my dear friend , it is better that you get marriage certificate from municipal corporation (nagar nigam )this will go for all your purpose it is easy to get .

मुस्लिम विधि में विवाह कोई संस्कापर नहीं है अपितु एक संविदा है जिस कारण आप एक स्टािम्पो पेपर पर निकाह बाबत संविदा कर उसमें मेहर की राशि तय कर मेहर अदा कर विधिवत तरीके से निकाह 2 साक्षी की उपस्थिति में कर सकते हैं तो पूर्णतया विधिमान्य है लेकिन वर्तमान में विवाह का पंजीकरण सरकारी कार्यो में अहम दस्ताववेज हो चुका है, आप चाहे तो उक्ता संविदा के आधार पर अपना नि‍काह पंजीकरण भी करवा सकते हैं लेकिन अगर आप बालिग नहीं हैं तो संविदा संभव नहीं है, यदि आप प्रेम विवाह करना चाहते हैं तो आपको पंजीकरण करवाना चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में परिवार के दवाब में आपको किसी प्रकार संकट या बलात्कायर जैसे प्रकरण का सामना नहीं करना पडे

Hi ; stamp marriage is not an valid marriage . basically you have to perform the marriage rituals (NIKAH) and a seperate nikah certificate is issued .Besides this it is adviceable to do the registration of the marriage to avoid any sort of problems in the future and this also gives added legality and validity.

Answer of Query Response (42777) Muslim marriage is a contract, this marriage is valid, but you both are major age, if you want registration of marriage you first take Nikahanaamaa from Kazi than you registatred. if you not do this you can file the special marriage application in front the dist magistreate
