Is Army family pension for unmarried daughter.

My maternal grandfather was army soldier died in 2009 grandmother also died a year after. Will my unmarried aunt be entitled to pension if she apply now. If yes, kindly let me know the required procedure and documentation required. Thanks.

yes,It is well settled law that Pension Regulations do not debar a minor son/daughter from opting the family pension. Unmarried daughter is also eligible for pension until she is married however, your case needs details analysis of your authorities circular and regulations.
you are advised to file a representation before the authority concerned and move before High court in writ petition.
