Husband planning for second marriage without divorce

21-Apr-2023 (In Family Law)
Hi sir/madam, I am married since 1.5 years. My in-laws were trying to seperate us from 1st day. I and my family tried all means to win their favor. But after child birth i came to maternal home. My sil, mil and fil during this time brain washed my husband and he quarrelled with me and my parents and stopped communicating with us. Now with 5 month baby boy and old parents i am struggling with life. I am waiting for him to reconcile. In the mean time my in-laws are planning to get him married secretly. Is there any way to save my marriage? If they get him married like that is there any way for me to defend? I don't want to seperate from him.

Hi
You should approach the nearest women cell of a police station or file a case of Restitution of conjugal rights in the court.
Once you approach the women cell of police station, police will counsel him
Alternatively a restitution of conjugal rights petition will also help in getting back your husband.

Hello,

Your in-laws are only planning to get your husband married secretly so do not worry. File a complaint with Mahila police and ask them to summon your husband and in-laws for reconciliation and also tell the mahila police that your in-laws are planning to get your husband marry secretly. The Mahila police will do the mediation and make your husband and in-laws understand better. Chance is there that your husband and in-laws may come to terms and your husband may take you back to your matrimonial home. However, if your husband and in-laws are still adamant and not accepting to take you back, file a domestic violence case against your husband and in-laws and claim reliefs of protection order, residential order and maintenance order for yourself and your kids from the court. If you file the case, your husband may want to settle with you and end the disputes in order to save himself and his parents from roaming around the court for the next 2-3 years If not, your and your kid's future will be secured by filing the case and claiming the above reliefs from the court.
