How to transfer property to son in hindu family
31-May-2023 (In Family Law)
My grandfather had acquired a flat in Mumbai. He has 5 children 1 Son (my father), 4 daughters I have a sister. and now a son. The registration in the building CHS is in my name. For this purpose I had procured NOCs from my aunts. How do I ensure that the property passes in entirety to my son. We are a Hindu family.
If the registration is in your name then you are the legal owner of the flat. If your grandfather had left a will in your father's favour was that will probated? Did your father will the property to you in turn? If you want to ensure that the flat goes to your son please execute a gift deed in his name.
Execute a release deed from all the legal heirs of your grandfather. Post execution get the same registered with the office of sub registrar. Post that submit the same in the society and the get it transferred
