How to retrive 2 years old deleted sms from service providers

Some 2 years old sms got deleted from my mobile. I need to show those sms in court. 1.Do service providers saves the contents of sms? 2.If yes, then how long they save it i.e service provider save old sms data contents for what duration? 3.After 2 year, Can I retrive those old sms from service providers with court order?
NORMALLY the court has the power to to summon the the record of sms along wid the AR Authorised representative or other relevant record. service provider like airtel, vodafone, reliance, tata have there offices in the big cities and they do keep data base for record purpose. you can approach them....
