How to reconcile with wife during the pendency of Divorce petition

Actually my divorce should be contested but it went to contested now. When alimony got fixed before elders she had to come and sign in the agreement paper but the wife or the respondent did not turned up and went to contested now. Without informing she went and filed false case on me which made me in loosing job as well. When divorce is in progress I went to court and came back but the wife or the respondent did not turned up from last 7 months and thought to be a ex party evidence but last time the respondent came back and filed vakalatnama. In objection to her petition she clearly said that she want to come back in my life and want to live with me. Also mentioned that she can withdraw 498a in case if I withdraw my divorce petition and accept her. Please need your input on this Regards Innocent man

The fact that there was a compromise initially in front of elders which was subsequently withdrawn and instead the wife filed the 498a case against you shows that you are innocent in 498a case and you will win the 498a case by default.
better to go ahead with divorce petition and get the divorce granted instead.
