How to live separately from wife & children who harass me all the time

19-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
I am almost 60 Yrs. old and I am a Christian. I have been have problems with my wife for almost twenty years and she has taken me to the Police Station many times in the past. I left my last job on Feb 2016 due to medical reason and now I have no source of income. I have two working daughters and they give me Rs.500 to 1000 per month. I am humiliated by my wife and children. Now I wish to live separately and I want to sell my flat which I had bought before I got married, but my wife says that she will not allow the people who want to see and buy the flat, enter the house. What can I do or what option do I have. Please help me.

Live separate from wife & children is different from selling own flat
You bought said house from ancestral or self earned fund ?
Said Rs 500 to 1,000 /- monthly for what ?
whether they provide you food, medical, cloth, etc basic essential needs, above & apart from said meager P M amount ?
there are several clarification required to help you properly & timely
You may live separate, even without selling said flat, or other better alternative feasible, provided whole truth communicated
Thnx

Sir
It will be difficult for you to sell the house which is your wife's matrimonial home also for so many years. You can file an application under Protection of Senior Citizen or Crpc 125 for maintenance from your adult children and against harassment.

first of all you have not cleared that said flat is your self acquired property or ancestral property, if it is self acquired then you have right to dispose off as per your will, but if it is ancestral property then your legal heirs has right in it, so do accordingly,
and further if you your daughters can not give maintenance then you can file petition for maintenance u/S 125 of Cr. P.c. as you said your christain under christan personl law you can not claim for the same
