How to handle false dowry harassment case by wife

I was married 3yrs ago.My wife is threatening for dowry harassment case against me and my parents.But the truth is after marriage i had helped her to grow in her carrier and get a job, so i helped to join institutes for banking job and paid her tuition fees and every time the banking exam fees. She demanded me to make her nominee but i didn't agree,so i deposited around 3 lacs rupees on her to convince her that i care for her. we had a baby boy one yr ago and the delivery happened in bangalore and i have paid for each and everything. But my in laws used call me or my parents to threaten everytime that we don't care their daughter well.So with frustration i asked my in laws have u ever helped me physically, mentally or financially.So don't call or threaten me. They have a recording of my question and now threatening to file dowry harassment case on my line"have u ever helped me physically, mentally or financially.My question is, can i be booked under dowry harassment case?
You have asked your in laws not your wife, your in laws cannot file dowry harrasment against your and " have you ever helped me physically, mentally or financially" does not come under the definition of dowry. Before doing anything by your wife, you first issue legal notice to come and lead the married life with you by giving her 7 days time, after wards you file a case in the family court Restitution of conjugal rights. Do it immediately

If you think your relation is strained and inconsolable means it is better to take divorce by sending legal notice. If you come to know that they will file complaint against you under 498 means immediately approach any advocates or us through Law Rato and get anticipatory bail for safer side. Keep all the documents which you have stated means the bank account detail for depositing Rs.3 Lakh in your wife's name the Hospital Bills and any other relevant documents with you.

You and your family members can be booked under dowry harrassment Act. Such cases are usual, and you all need to immediately seek anticipatory bails and wait for filing of charge sheet by police and again go and get regular bail in the jurisdictional Court of police station wherever she files complaint. Truth will come out much later.

Yes - you can be booked under dowry harassment - but the question is whether they can prove the charges or not - you have to keep all evidences - as long as you have all the evidences, you have nothing to worry

It would depend on the complaint that your spouse would lodge with the police or file before the court. Once the case is filed and the police registers a case,then you can have the defense staring that you have never harassed tour spouce for demand of dowry.
