How to get benefits under SC category

Hi, I have married a SC woman and I belong to a General caste.My wife changed her surname and took mine and updated Adhar card also.So for any GOVT. job will she take the benefits of SC cast?Please let me know.
After a hindu marriage is done the wife automatically takes over the religion and caste of the husband; but it is some1's personal belief that can remain. The SC/ST provision will not apply after marriage of your wife.

the caste of a person is determined by birth only. if your wife has already obtained caste certificate only the change of surname with proper documentation wouldn't create any problem. If, you are from West Bengal please contact with SC/ST department at your Block, Municipality they're facilitate inter caste marriages with an amount of Rs.50000/-. You can search on-line and apply.

Very good question and very good thinking. You can carry on because, she belong to SC community, why you don't take opportunity from Govt. Job. Ultimately there is no scope of General Cast, therefore, it is a lottery for you if you prepare such documents of your Wife and get a job. Very Nice. Go ahed.
