How to defend false accusation of dowry demands

Dear Expert, my wife has filed a false complaint that my husband's mother is demanding car in dowry. She also stated in her complaint that my husband tried to beat me up but her mother in law saved her. Both are false allegations. I have been married on December 2016. she has been living with her family since lase one and half month. I took her to her parental home on her demand only. now she is claiming that it was against her wish. Her family has influence in the local police and they are pushing them to register the FIR. Please advise. I want to go offensive and not defensive. Can i file complaint that the complaint given by my wife is false and sue her for criminal conspiracy?

Your marriage has been performed on december 2016 and now its jst 5 months not been passed she is filing a case against you. It is very strange her father is helping that girl in her evil designs which come to the conclusion that marriage was a trap. Either to take money from you they might be habitual or that girl wants you to stay away from your parents. There can be any possibility.
It is bare allegations and police cannot register fir without properly investigation the matter
Utmost they are gonna try to resolve issue amicably. Be calm and collect all evdience you have. Give application to local police of your area that your wife has leave home with her own free will.

No this is not the right moment.. first of all u must get a anticipatory bail from court ... and if the fIR has been registered u may apply to commisionerate for proper inquiry of the case .. this is the only remedy u have right now

Dear friend, if your wife has filed a false complaint then first you have to record your statement before the police, if you think that police is favoring the other party then you can file an application before the senior police official to transfer the investigation to some other senior police official, but your counter complaint will not help you any more. Because your wife has taken first step now you have to be diplomatic and defensive..

U can file complaint but it will not solve ur problem, u can get blanket anticipatory bail in apprehension of ur arrest, thereafter if FIR is registered u can be admitted on bail by court very easily and u can contovert her allegations in evidence produced by her.
