If your in-laws are harassing you, you have give complaint with the local police. They will take appropriate legal action. If you do not want to register a case again, you must say to the concern police to give them counseling.

Hello,

Lodge a domestic violence complaint against your husband's parents and sister-in-law with the police of your area and ask them not to book case against them and give counselling only. They will call your husband's parents and sister-in-law for counselling and they will give strict warning to your husband's parents and sister-in-law against such harassment in future. However, despite the police warning, your husband's parents and sister-in-law are not stopping the atrocities and harassment, file a domestic violence case against them with the police/protection officer of your area . If the police or the protection officer do not entertain your complaint, file a private complaint of domestic violence in the jurisdictional magistrate court under Section 12 of PWDV Act and seek relief of protection order against your husband's parents and sister-in-law. You can also lodge a complaint with police for dowry harassment and the police will book them under 498A IPC and proceed further. If you need any kind of help, feel free to contact me.

Dear client,
You ask your mother and father about the harassment caused by your in laws and future course of action to be taken against them. Take the help of mediators, well wshiers. Don`t hide any thing and put the matter before your parents and elders. If mediation failed then take the legal step. Take the assistance of an expert advocate in your area who has been practicing and experience in family cases.
