How to deal with domestic violence and harassment

I have been threaten out from my home I filed dv case but it s taking long time to get resident order.is there any other way through wich I enter my home not ngo and not Police.

No. it is the best way now a days and it is also true that it takes time. But our advise to wait for justice. And believe your Advocate, who will look into your matter carefully. In DV cases part by part i.e., one after another order will pass as Section wise. That's why it takes time.

Kindly contact the lawyer who has filed your matter and get an update as to the status of pendency. Ask for the orders of the case if any. And if possible check the records of your matter to know why the matter is pending as you don't want to go to an ngo or police, though it would be advisable to go to both for aid

No, you have chosen the right law. Beside this Act till now no Act has been passed by Indian Parliament to dispose a case more quickly. As per statute this application should be disposed on within 3days. Otherwise, State will be liable to arrange alter native shelter to the petitioner. In practice it will take some more time. If, your case is pending for long time without your faults, you may go to High Court with an application of speedy disposal.
