How to close/ Quash the FIR

How can close the FIR , FIR registered on 02.06.2017 under sections 366,498a,323,504,506,3,4. and FIR transfer to Mahila thana , But no further investigation done in this case by police dept. and no investigated officer appointed in this case. Now both party is wanted to close the FIR.
What is the procedure of close the FIR.
Can i close this FIR by submit the Affidavit and application to SSP.
अगर दोनों ही पक्ष सहमत हैं, तो दोनों ही पक्ष संयुक्त रूप से संबंधित थानाधिकारी को इस संबंध में लिखित रूप से प्रार्थना पत्र देकर कार्यवाही समाप्त करा सकते हैं ।
इसके उपरांत संबंधित विवेचना अधिकारी इस संबंध में एफआर लगाकर संबंधित न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर देगा और न्यायालय केस समाप्त कर देगा।

You can compound certain offences for which you've been charged. How ever compounding of only those offences can be done which are covered under section 320 CRPC. Submitting an affidavit will not result in the closure of the charge. Having said that, incase the Investigating Officer files a closure report in the Court saying that no evidence is found against you, this will result in closure of the case. Speak to the IO.
