Hi, I have a son his age 6 years old. I want to change my sons birth certificate name because me and my husband got divorced last 3 years back. I am only take care of my sons study and all. Plz give me suggestion. Thank you

How can you change yours sons birth certificate. He is born to you and your divorced husband. Divorce will not change paternity. You must take care of your sons study and all. What you will write the father`s name of your sons. You can`t change fathers name of his surname.

You have to file a affidavit and the same should be published in the local news paper after that you have to publish the same in the GEZIT . After publish the gezet you can give the same copy wherever required
