Grandmother not giving share in my father's property after his death

my father is having a property (land and a house ) approx 12 cent , but after his death , we are not aware of that property , his mother is alive and she is not giving us the right in the property . she is trying to give the property to her own daughters... what can i do?

No..she can't do it.If you belong to Hindu community ...you,your sibilings your mother and your grandmother are only the legal heirs of your father.Hence all of the above, will get equal share in the property.Definitely you can approach the court .

Dear Client,
Collect the details of the property , regarding its ownership, survey no., 4 boundaries', total extend of land. Also keep tour fathers death certificate ready. File suit for partition of property, showing the grandma as defendant also file an injunction application against alienation of property, aginst committing waste and against changing physical features. For this you are required to contact a good civil lawyer of tour area.
