In case you have the knowledge about the date of hearing of the case or the date on which you are required to appear before the Court irrespective of the fact that Court papers are sent to your old address (i.e. village Bharatpur), then you should appear before the Court on the said day. In case you are really interested in making appearance before the court then there is no harm in getting your address corrected on your own. Moreover, when the accused fails to appear before Court after the service of summons then the Court issues the warrant for his arrest.
