Father suffering from psychological problem what to do

Hello I am 26 years old. My dad has a psychological problem since..... years and he is abusing me and my mum physically. He doesn't give us any money for my mum's treatment also. Can u please advice me what rights can I and my mum have on his property and his business?? As his son, wat rights can i get as he is suffering from psychological disorder.My mum doesn't want to give divorce. I want to take care of my dad's condition. Please advice me. Thank u

You and your mother are entitled to equal shares of your father's properties and business.
If you have medical reports of his psychological problem, then you can take him for further counselling and treatment and in his absence you can take care of your father's business and properties by obtaining a power of attorney.
Generally courts will NOT divest a person of his powers unless and until it is proven that the person has lost his mental abilities or any sensory abilities.

If he is a major and suffering from psychological disorder he can also claim maintenance through your mother in a court of law. You mother need not give divorce. You say you father is having a psychological problem. Then you and your mother can take your father to a psychiatrist and can get the problem resolved. You and your mom had rights in his business. You did not specify what type of business your father is running. So I suggest you to take your dad to a psychiatrist.
