Father in laws brother abusing us what can we do

My in laws are in difficult situation. My father in law's brother come to our home than start abusing without any reason. Then my father in law frustrated. His brother start fighting to my father in law. Then both goes to police station. They make case to both. But father in law's brother has written while family name of my. But they were not present there that time.. we are in very very very frustrating..
