Family forcing to get married how can we stop them

It's about my friend who got engaged last year(they loved for a year) and marriage scheduled on April 11.problem is he doesn't like this marriage now or the girl.. He's trying to stop it.but everyone is threatening him to marry against his wishes.is there any way we can stop this ? Girl is writing suicide
The boy cannot be forced to marry someone if he is a major. If he is forced into marriage then he can file a file complaint
