26-Apr-2023 (In Family Law)
My wife harassing me on different ways (498a,DVC,MC) and the lady police officer was hearing her words and not mine. she did favor of her in the charge sheet and written wrong inputs from witnesses. I had a chat with my neighbors they are telling that they have given a positive response to police officer and it was not recorded by the police. I took copies from the court in that the statement was completely incorrect. The police officer mentioned Negative feedback on me in the charge sheet. I was discussed with neighbors and they were telling that the police officer intentionally mentioned false information, the witnesses were ready to come court and will give positive information.my question is "my wife was saying that she has given 20 Lakhs cash, 20 Thula Gold and etc" .. according to Government rule, the Dowry giver and taker are comes under offence. being an Government employee, she has complained that She gave dowry to me. why police officer is not filing cases against her as

Hi,
In general police record statements favouring women. Inspite of police colluding with women in preparing baised charge sheet, the conviction rate is less than 10% in matrimonial cases. If you have evidences to prove that your wife , her family and witnesses have lied to police, you can file a case of perjury against all of the persons including your wife. In addition you can also file defamation cases against witnesses who colluded with your wife in giving false statements. It is true bribe giving is also an offence provided an unrelated person files a complaint

Dear Client,
Your wife will say it is not dowry, but pasupu kumkuma or other name to dowry. She may say she did not want to give dowry, but you insisted for dowry and she did not know that the amount given at the time of marriage will be called as so. If police authorities recorded wrong statements you can project you case by projecting your case by placing reliable evidence. You may come out from the case if court believes your witnesses version.
