There is nothing barred you from claiming a share from your fathers' Property after his death for which you need to file a partition suit after his death .But during his life time he is the final authority on his whole property and you cannot claim anything except any amount forb maintenance ,which he ought to pay unless he had setteled such things by agreement with your mother.

You have no options to get the share in the self acquired property of father when he is alive .If you are minor you can ask maintenance from your father for your education purpose and day to day living support. He already given 9 lakhs to your mother as alimony, so that claim also settled. If he died intestate without writing a will with regard to his property then you can claim on his assets

Dear Client,
Both of you are having right on your father"s property. What ever it may be your mother"s marital status after divorcing your father. Added to that both of you can claim your educational expenses, marriage expenses subject to the maximum financial capacity of your father. If he fails to give you can file appropriate Petitions before the Family Court of your area.

YOU AND YOUR SISTER CAN FILE THE MAINTENANCE CASE BEFORE THE FAMILY COURT WHERE YOU RESIDE. YOU CAN FILE IT THOUGH YOU ATTAINED THE AGE OF MAJORITY.i UNDERSTAND YOUR MOTHER ALREADY GOT THE LIFE ALIMONY FROM YOUR FATHER .SO SHE CAN'T MOVE TO THE COURT.
