Cast issue of child in unregistered marriage

My dad is from open category n mom from schedule cast...
They had unregistered marriage..
So what is my cast now..?
Couse I'm educated n i want to pripare government exams..exams so please hell me...
With out registration of marriage there is no effect on your cast.
U need to produce the cast certificate of ur parent and other related document to get benefit of reservation for government job. To get it revert back to me.

Technically for application of caste both mother and father need to be of same caste. generally as India has a patriarchal family system we generally get the name as well as caste from your fathers side. please contact your local lawyer for further advice
