I'm a Hindu and My fathers house was unpartitioned after his death it was his wish that I inherit it but no will . In the meantime my mother prepared a registered will entitling me all the rights bestowed upon her after husband's death .what right do I have on that property is it 1/8 or 2/8 I have 6 siblings or was my mother the absolute owner of the house

You can claim your mother's 1/8 share along with your 1/8 share..ie, total 2/8 of share of the property at the time of partition. The property as of now is left un partitioned. So the same has to be partitioned and the shares has to be divided to separate.

Hai

No ur mother isnt the absolute owner. She can transfer her share right alone. The hindu succession is one f the complex ones. It needs more specifications on caste. If u r brahmins its supported with mithakshara law. Else the common hindu law. Ay present u have 2/8 Share over the property 6 siblings n mother accounted for. Tat comes 1/4th of total proeprty share right
