Can nominee be changed in property owned by mother and sister

I am a Hindu.I am a nominee in a property jointly owned by my mother and my sister. My mother is no more. Can my sister change the nominee?

There is no any provision that your sister change nominee name means your sister can't have any rights to change your name as nominee but if your mother made any power of Attorney or any written deed in favour of your sister to do this then.?..

Yes your sister can change the nominee. The society will give you a nomination form which needs to be filled up and submitted by your sister for her share. For your mother's share find out from the agreement whether you sister becomes the 100 percent owner post the mothers demise or it devolves on your mother's legal heirs.
