In Australia any person aged 18 years or older, who is not currently married, can get married. A person who is between 16 and 18 years of age can marry, provided the other party to the marriage is at least 18 years of age.
You better get married in India to avoid legal complications in Foreign land.

Sir with regard to your query I would say that you have to consult Australian lawyer. As per my limited knowledge to the matter concern, there are other conditions also for you to fulfill besides age. Rest in India there is another way too. For that take an appointment.

The prohibition of Child Marriage Act states that a girl in India can't marry before 18 and boy can't marry before completing 21 years of age. Marriage can be done any where in the world in temple or gurudwara but you must be of 21 years at the time of marriage. Thereafter you need to register your marriage in Indian Embassy office at Australia. Australia marriage laws are applicable only if both of you will be the citizens of Australia and having Australian Passport. So you need to wait for 2 years more.
