Hi, I signed as a witness to a marriage in arya samaj. Does it become a legal case on me.Please help me

Marriage in accordance with Arya samaj (vedic) rites is a valid marriage. What would be the legal consequence? You say you are a witness. In any matrimonial dispute between the spouses of whose marriage you are a witness , you may be called as a witness for proving that there was a marriage between them. Now registration of marriage is compulsory. Advice the newly married couple to go for registration of marriage to avoid any future problems.
