According to Hindu Law it is invalid he will be punished his work will be lost but in Muslim law it is permitted as he can marry 4 and for 5th talk next can be done so I'd Muslim law it can be done.

Many government departments have a set of service conditions which bar a person from contracting illegal second marriage, and he cannot take shelter under his freedom to do so as per his religion. But the net result is his job may be lost but not his marriage.

The personal law of a Mohammedan permits to have 2nd wife during the life time of 1st wife without divorcing the 1st wife. Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code come to aid to obtain maintenance, if wife is incapable of maintaining herself on her earning. Have redress of your grievance by invoking the law in force. In your religious law there is provision that - "Muslim men are allowed to practice polygyny, that is, they can have more than one wife at the same time, up to a total of four"

But for that there is condition laid under law and also under your religious book. If the terms is violated, then such person can be punished under law.

Here if such circumstances arises, you can go for maintenance.

As you informed that " He is an government employee" But the CODE itself permit for 4 wifes at time.

If there is volition of the terms of CODE or Your religious costume you can take action against him. if not you are permitted to claim maintenance from him.
