Can a mother in law file a case under DV act. against the atrocities of her daughter in law. As she certainly comes under the ambit of domestic relation. Also, can the mother in law file a case under any section of IPC against her daughter in law?
yes mother in law can file case under Domestic violence Act, against daughter-in-law . Moreover the Indian Penal Code has provisions for various situations, which can be applicable as per the offence committed.
