Hi, I'm a 25years old woman and I don't get along well with my parents for many reasons. There's a lady who loves me like her own daughter and we're looking at legalizing our relationship as a mother and daughter. This lady has a son who's 10years old and loves me equally. Is it possible for her to adopt me as her daughter? If yes, is my parents' consent really needed? In case she can't adopt me as her daughter, is there a law that enables me to adopt a parent in India? Is it possible for me to have her as my legal mother?
