Boy proposed marriage and then went missing with important belongings

15-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
A person, who brought a marriage proposal for me and who has convinced my family for our marriage, suddenly went missing. He has always been with me all the time since many years now. However since 5 months he is neither in touch with me nor with ANY of his friends. He left his job too. I have proofs that he's connected with his family but his family keep on saying to everyone else that he's missing. We both have important belongings of each other. Even if he wants to break up, I want my belongings back from him. I conveyed the same to his family but they are doing drama. Can I take it legal?

you said your belongings are with him and his belongings are with you. so file a cheating case against him and his parents. basing on the proofs on hand with you, you can proceed legally as he cheated you. or else give a legal notice to him and his parents as his parents will know about his whereabouts.

Hi
You can file a case against the person on charges of Dishonest misappropriation of property(Section 403 of Indian penal code), Cheating (U/S420 of Indian Penal code), and Criminal breach of trust(u/s405 of Indian penal code) in the nearest women police station and reclaim your property and also ask the courts to punish the accused/
