Boy promised to marry me now refusing what can I do

A muslim guy cheated me by saying love, he said his parents were not accepting to our mrg bcoz of religion problem but the fact was he did not tell them about me. From 1year we were in relation, i came to knew that from past 1year he had been searching for matches in his religion, i was a christian. He cheated me very badly. I wanted to file a cheating case against him, under which section i can file? He took my phone and said it was lost in robbery, in that msgs, photos and call recordings were there, i came to knew later that there was no robbery happened and he said lies to me
There are many legal remedies available at your end, it is completely up to you how coercive action you want to take. Following are the options available at your end:
Filling a criminal complaint for an offence including but not limited to rape (punishment imprisonment of 3 years), criminal breach of trust (punishment imprisonment of 7 years), molestation (punishment of 3 years), outraging modesty of women (punishment - 2 years)
You will have to lodge a criminal complaint against him and get the FIR registered after which the concerned police officer will initiate actions on your behalf.
