Annulment of 4 months old court marriage

A best friend ,under pretext to safeguard herself from arranged marriage,pressured me to get married just for obtaining a marriage certificate to quieten her parents.Lot of emotional blackmail/threat to harm herself,and Tantrik treatment were applied on me,and I was left mentally unstable while signing the papers.Now she is refusing to back-out and tells it was only to trap me and threatening force entry to my parent's house.I feel cheated and don't want to continue in the marriage.Can I get anullment? Can she make a force entry even after I file anullment application in the court?guide pl

Yes you can. The petition for nullity may be presented before the family court. Remember, law has prescribed limitation for annulment of marriage, after which court may not entertain such suit. Your suppose might invoke proceedings under DV act.

this is very complicated situation. mind it well whatever legal action you take she may back-fire as you are aware she being lady may take the disadvantage being the much of the law provisions are in favour of women. still it is advisable that you may file police complaint against her and by issuing a legal notice you also may apply for divorce petitition in the court but keep all the corrospondance and acknowledgment so in future nothing should harm you.

yes you are trapped. in this case she may file petitioner under domestic violence act and get entry in your house too. even you cannot file a divorce petition before completion of one year after marriage. you can seek legal remedy by filing petition for annulment of marriage.
