Where should I apply to get succession certificate

My father die on same place who allotted a flat at kharghar by cidco. To transfer it on my name cidco asking for legal hairship /sucssesion certificate. My question where should i apply for it
First of all be clear, succession certificate and legal heirs certificates both have different purpose and modus operandi, the former is required for monetary benefits and the later is required for transferring the property, as per your query I will suggest you to hire a lawyer and apply for legal heirs certificate before the court prescribed in prevailing statute, generally in maharashtra the Civil Judge Junior Division has power to issue the same under Bombay Regulation Act, find out yours one by contacting a lawyer.
