Dear Client,
Information is insufficient. For what purpose you require legal heir certificate. You must furnish all details for answering your query. For example, if you want legal certificate for claiming return of deposit of deceased from a bank, you must file deposit forms in your custody and you must produce death certificate of deceased, if he did job his identification particulars like his employment number, his aadhar card and other identification cards etc., and if Mandal Revenue Officer issued any Legal Heir Certificate, or family member certificate the same should be filed. You must engage an expert civil advocate who has been dealing in cases of filing civil suits for grant of legal heir certificates. You must show the opposite parties as those persons from whom you have to obtain relief, that is return of deposits or so. You must pay legal charges. It depends on experience of advocate. It takes six to twelve months time.

If the deceased was a govt employee then you can seek legal heir certificate/family members certificate from concerned MRO. if the deceased was a command man then you have to approach civil court and seek succession certificate. It may take about six months to 12 months time. fee and expenses differ.
