What is the procedure to register plot on sathe khata?

I have purchase a plot in alibaug on sathe khat, is it ok or i have to register my property with thasildar office. If Yes then how can i register what is the procedure
You are agreed to purchased the said plot by way of Sathe khat, let me know which plot purchased by way of Sathe khat, the said property is in new tenure land or free hold land or you are purchased the said plot on installment.
