What is the procedure for KSOU certificate verification?

My sister has completed her studies through Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) distance education program. On applying for a job, she got rejected on the grounds that her certificates were not valid.Later she was asked to get her certificates verified from the university to get the job offer. Hence, I wanted to know the procedure for verification of documents.
The condition laid down by the company to obtain a verification certificate from the university is valid. For this you will have to issue a demand draft in favour of registrar of the said university. The university will then issue verification certificate that will act as a proof that the certificates are genuine.
For Karnataka State Open University the amount payable via demand draft (DD) is Rs.1200/-per certificate. The DD shall be made in the name of Finance Officer, K. S. O. U. Mysore.
