What is the format for power of attorney for property related matters. The poa needs to be attested abroad in Indian consulate. I need to give poa to my father for my apt in India where he can deal any legal matters including sale or gift deeds on behalf of me. What is the kind of attestation o r procedure do I need to do in Indian consulate , so that this POA is valid in India without any trouble.
We suggest that you contact a local lawyer and he will draft a POA in favour of your father. Further you need to get the same attested from the consulate of the respective country from where you are executing the POA.
