my brother is 20 years old who lives in mubai ,and he is going to marry a 24 years old girl (and she also leaves in mumbai), IS IT LEGAL. and my brother came to hyderabad and he is calling her girlfriend to hyderabad, without her parents PERMISSION. IS IT LEGAL ... PLZ TELL ME..
Prohibition of Child Marriage Act states that a girl in India can't marry before the age of 18, and a boy before 21

In addition permission from parents/guardians do not come into the picture for the girl however, may be a probe issue for the male of 20 years old since he has not attained the legal age of marriage as recognized by the constitution of India
