What happens if one who makes GPA dies does holder becomes owner

25-Apr-2023 (In Documentation Law)

Sirs, Have a question on power of attorney, this is a registered GPA, with complete rights to GPA holder. My question is what happens to GPA if the owner of the property dies, will GPA holder become the owner of the property? Eg: Mr A gives Is power of attorney to Mr B on a property, after the death of Mr.A will Mr.B become the owner of the property? Also is there any time validity of the GPA? like 20 year or so (there is nothing specified in the GPA)

After death of executant the GPA is of no effect.

Nobody become owner of an immovable property (of value exceeding Rs. 100) without having registered instrument in his favour executed either by the previous owner or any of his authorised agents.
