THE NAME OF THE PERSON IN THE RC BOOK IS ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE. IT IS IMMATERIAL WHETHER IT HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO SEVERAL HANDS.IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU COULD INFORM THE OWNER WHOM YOU BOUGHT REGARDING THE CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP.

Why this circuitous procedure? There is only one procedure prescribed by law for the transactions described - approaching the Regional Transport Office and getting carried out the changes in the RC Book. The agreement in stamp paper is of no consequence. Legally, the car still belongs to the original owner as shown in the RC Book.
