validity of old OBC certificate when new one obtainable post interview

My son has cleared sbi po 2017 mains. We come in obc(NC) category. The existing certificate of OBC/NC available with me was issued in Feb 2017. As per notification the OBC/NC Certificate should be after 01 Apr 2017. Now due to paucity of time the new certificate cannot be obtained as interview is about to star within a week. As per notification, if no OBC/NC certificate produced they will debar from group exercise and interview. Please advise
If it is the demand of the bank then you can not do anything . However as a legal request and gesture you can give them in writing an undertaking that this admission will be provisional and subjected to the submition of original certificate. In such cases where orginal documents are not available, these methods are used as an alternative.
