Hai

There is a general mistake amoung the public that the original in our hands is the pakka original. In fact the deed kept n maintained at the register office is actually the original one . You might have noticed that at the time of registration the authorities would have signed you on a long paper. That is in fact the original deed. On speaking about your query the original deed as you mentioned is missing you can produce a certified copy from the concerned register office or otherwise to let the authority's can clearly examine the signature . The above-mentioned long sheet register can even be sent for forensic examination. So you don't worry about missing the original deed and you can proceed with the case without any doubt

hope I am up to your query

Normally courts will not accept photocopies of the documents for sending to handwriting experts to verify the signature. The Question lacks clarity. Therefore the answer is subject to correction on getting more details or perusal of the deed.

It appears that the query is less than honest and complete facts have not been posted. What is the nature of the deed? Which court? What is the issue under challenge? Who has produced the photocopy? Please disclose the relevant aspects so that some suggestions could be given.
