Procedure to make correction of caste in school certificate

sir my caste is banajija lingayatha, but in my school records it has mentioned as veerashivya lingayatha, but to claim reservation in central government i want to change it , is it possible.
You cannot change your community/caste in the records now.
Conversion from one caste to another caste is not allowed.
If you do not want to avail any benefit available to the community under reservation, it is your choice and also it not a compulsion on you to mention your caste in any application.
