Procedure to get marriage certificate want to marry European girl

I want to marry my girl friend in India this year who is from Europe. 1 I am Hindu and she is Christian by religion. 2 If it is necessary she is ready to change her religion to Hindu. (In this I want to know the procedure, how someone can convert his/her religion?) I have asked in marriage office and they told me she needs to stay here for 30 days to get the marriage certificate. In this regard I have few doubts Like for marriage she needs to stay here for 30 days or for getting one marriage certificate we need 30 days?Where we will marry?can i get the certificate in less than30days
