i have a small issue in our land document. before years a land of ours was registered in my mothers name... my mothers name is Ealiyamma in all documents..But she also got a name called as jessy...no documents its just a alias name used at home. Unfortunately the land was registered in the name jessy, i know thats gonna be a problem in future, so now i need to change the name. Can i change the name..? whats the procedure..??

It can only be decided after seeing the document. You would have submitted an ID card when the document was made. What is the name on the ID card?? If no D card has been attached with it, how could it have been registered??
