Hello,

you can now move an application before the appropriate board office from where you have passed your high School along with the other documents, however if they do not respond to your application you can approach the High court and get a writ issued to the said effect.

The Central Board of Secondary Examination allows correction in name, to the extent of spelling error, factual typographical error in the candidate’s name, only within ONE year of date of declaration of result. On the other hand, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations does not allow any correction in the name of the candidate unless the head of the candidate’s school certifies with due justification that he/she made a mistake in entering the name in the online registration form or that after satisfying himself/herself of the need to do so he/she has changed the school records based on a birth certificate or any other document issued by a competent authority duly authorized to do so. If your school falls under any other Board then kindly refer to the rules of correction of name given under the same or contact us.
