Problem due to different name in spouse passport and mine

Hi, I am a Muslim married to a Hindu. We got married under the Special Mariage Act and as such my Marriage certificate carries my Maiden surname. I donot wish to change my surname and wish to continue with my maiden one. All my documents carry my maiden name. However my husband got his passport renewed recently and in his passport he wrote my name using his surname as the agent suggested that. Will this create a problem or any complication for me legally or otherwise? If we travel together will there be an issue as I have my maiden name on my passport and not my husband's but he has changed it in his passport. I donot wish to change my name to my husband's name under any circumstances.
It is upto you whether you want to change your name from maiden to married. At the same time if you are traveling to any country you must have registered marriage certificate to prove that you are married.
I would suggest you to get your passport In married name for practical reasons to avoid any hassle In future.
1. I assume that you have maiden name along with single status and your parents address,now in this situation you will have to always give separate proof for marital status and address proof.
2. when you will have kids it will create problem to get your kids passport.
3. and there are so many other issues you may have to deal with.
OR
You don’t need to change your name after marriage. But you have to update your marital status in your passport and add your spouse’s name in your passport. It is better to update your passport before applying for visa to avoid further problems. To add your spouse name in your passport you have to submit your marriage certificate as Annexure and get a new passport with your spouse name endorsed on it.
