No address proof of 1 year can passport authority reject application
26-May-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Query: I've Police Verification for my Passport tomorrow. I mentioned one current address and a permanent address. I 've been living on my Current address for 1 year but have proof for 11 months(6months notarized + 5 months registered rent agreement at same address). Can they reject my case, what can I do to prevent it?
Applicants are required to submit the proof of address of the present address only, irrespective of the date from which he/she has been residing at the given address. However, he/she is required to mention all the places of stay during previous one year (from the date of application filling) in the Passport application form.
